Closing Business

(1)        Tim Ward called meeting to order.

(2)        Tim Earles gave Treasurer’s Report.

(3)        Bob Melton presented a $750 check for scholarships.

(4)        Tim Ward presented the President’s Report.

a)      He asked local chapters if they wanted to be on the website.           

b)      He announced next year’s business meeting possibly in Memphis,          TN.

(6)        Tim Ward presented to Linda Huey the President’s Award.

(7)        Golf committee reported a great golf tournament.

(8)        Denny Boss presented the Education Committee’s report. He asked for

            suggestions for next year’s meeting.

(9)        Jim Brown was announced as Legislative Committee Chairman.

(10)      Linda Lichtenberger read the report of the Resolution Committee.

(11)      Tim Ward spoke of collection of dues as a concern.  Requirements of hours for the state core requirements for re-certification were discussed.

(12)      Terry Cobb presented Butch Simmons of North Carolina for the Board of Directors of ICC.

(13)      Linda Lichtenberger made a motion for TBOA to donate $200 to the Butch Simmons campaign fund.  Motion was passed.

(14)      Meeting was adjourned.
